Winter 2008

It is fixing up to be a wonderful year for Sherman in 2008. Sherman is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming CD, Single Room Saloon - the hope is it will be mixed and ready for a June release. The CD at this point has many contributors - Jojo Hermann (of course!), George Recile (drums, Bob Dylan), Tony Garniere (bass, Bob Dylan), Tom Marshall (Legendary Phish Lyricist, Co-Writing the title track with Anthoney Krizan and Sherman), Ivan Neville (everybody on the planet and beyond), Michael Ray (space)--- and of course Anthony Krizan, Rob Clores - plus a few more very special guests.

February 27th - Sherman has the honor of opening for and accompanying his old friend and band mate John "Jojo" Hermann (Widespread Panic Keyboard/Songwriter) at the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride Colorado. This is a benefit concert with all proceeds going toward the Wild West Fund. Tickets are available at sheridanoperahouse.com.

March 15 - Ace of Clubs, 9 Great Jones Street bt Broadway and Lafayette, 10 pm sharp. Sherman has joined forces with Amfibian - name of the band still to be determined ... show will include new songs of Single Room Saloon, plus songs from Amfibians Skip the Goodbyes CD. It is possible the Michael Ray might be popping by to say a special hello in his own special way. The reknown and always dangerous "Jaywalkers" will be opening the evening with a set at 8 pm.

Sherman is hoping to play at a few "Post Panic" Parties. In the past, Jojo has made special appearances at a number of these shows -- this time we are looking to book a show in Savanah Georgia on April 22nd ... more on that later.
